Searching for the right school!

Hey Lovelies.

I have had many offers for schools but I just don't know if I would like to go to a school online. What do you think? At this point it maybe be my only option for me. I have to keep on working. A lot of other people have made it threw and I just want to be successful. Yes I know short and sweet sometimes it has to be that way.... Until next time... hopefully it won't take me that long to get back to you guys.

It has been a while since I have a post. Sorry bout that my life has been pretty busy. I went to IMATS in Los Angeles and it was my first time OMG! It was the best experience in my life. All the different vendors, shows, classes, and the amazing people. I learned a lot, seen a lot , and had so much fun. Having a full time job ; looking for a school and trying to have a social life it's a lot to deal with at 1 time. But I will make it I have no choice but too make it. Until next time.........

So last night it just all made sense that I have had a lot of people around me that can help me with this project at hand. My sister N law's friend is a Mary-Kay consultant and she was going over the different things that is needed for a business and while I was sitting there getting my facial on. It clicked so why haven't I use companies such as Mary-Kay ,Avon, even MAC to get my foot into the door.The scariest part for me about starting my own business is what if I fall on my face. I would have no other source of income and than the thought came to me MARY-KAY! I am able to do this on my time, keep my full time job, as well as still practice doing makeup consultation; basically getting my foot into the door of the business. I can start my pipeline for my business I will be able to have some kind of foundation on how I can run my business from experience from being with this business. As well as earn some money on the side that I could just put into my business and maybe I will be able to get a pink Cadillac. This is really coming together.... so far. So my next set at this point is to get some information about being a Mary-Kay Independent Consultant. This has came around the time that I am going to I.M.A.T.S.( International Make-Up Artist Trade Show) in Pasadena,California this weekend. Which I'm so excited to go to especially with my mother. Now she will know why I want to do make-up 1st hand. A all day experience with makeup. Now she may not like me at the end of the day but she will have a better understanding of what is going on in the makeup world. And who wouldn't want to make that bride feel even more beautiful or the young lady going to prom. The joy of bringing someone else JOY just a great feeling.

My name is Keonna and I am trying to become a freelance make-up artist. I figure that I could go ahead and start a blog about my Journey to become one. Now at this time all I have is the passion for doing makeup as well as fashion. My fashion sense may not be the best but I have it. I have not start going to school yet nor have I learn out the steps of owning my own business. At 20 years of age I do have this feeling in the back of my head that this is going to be a challenge for me but I guess there isn’t anything wrong with that. So I guess I should get into a little background about myself. I’m from Hawthorne, California I have recently moved to Tempe, Arizona love it  well everything but the heat . I’m not so sure of what it is that I want to do as fair as career wise but I do that this is somewhere I can start. My parents really have helped me become the person that I am today along with my brother; and for the most part have supported me with all of the decisions that I have made in my life and I don’t see them stopping anytime soon. So with that all being said.......

Let’s take this journey together to become a make-up artist.
